| PALIMPSEST Project was featured in an article with the title “Summit on Museum Education”, in the “Typos-i” Newspaper, a regional newspaper and website.
A summit on “Museum Education and Sustainable Development – The role of the new school” is organized by the Regional Center for Educational Planning (PEKES) of Epirus and the Training Center for Sustainability of Konitsa on Saturday, February 16, at 9.30 am, in the conference center of the Region of Epirus (in the Sarka gallery). Admission is free, and certificates of participation will be given. Presentations will be made by Aikaterini Plakitsi, professor and president of the Pedagogical Department of Kindergarten Teachers of the University of Ioannina (“Museum education at school”), by Polyxeni Mantzou, professor of the Department of Architecture of the University of Democritus A (Democritus A). Thomas Lolis, coordinator of the Education Project for Sustainability PE.K.ES. Epirus (“Education for sustainability and cultural heritage – The contribution of new education structures”). A visit to museums of the city of Ioannina will follow. |
