In the past, inns in the city of Ioannina were very popular, also called Hani. One of the most famous was the Hani of Vrosgos. Travelers from many parts of the world who came to visit Ioannina stayed there. It was very well known and widespread. There were merchants and inhabitants from the villages who came to sell their goods. They spent 2 to 3 nights there, until they sold all their wares and left again for the villages.
