There used to be a hani on Tsirigoti Street, a kind of inn where you could sleep, feed and tie your horse. Those who came from the villages to sell goods such as wood, wool, legumes, etc. spent the night there. One night when I came to Ioannina with my father, we went to the inn, tied the horse and slept. At night we heard a noise and after we got off, we found that the horse was missing. We searched the area and saw it grazing in the lake. We took it, went back and tied it better. The next day we sold our wares, bought other things and returned to the village.
