One of the best seamstresses of Ioannina, the grandmother Evanthia, was a seamstress of the Molivada Mansion, in the place of today’s Xenia. She had a daughter, Polyxeni. Grandma knew her because she often sewed dresses for her. Polyxeni was in the EAM and conveyed messages during the German occupation. At some point she was caught by Zervas. She was caught in Arta, tortured and buried alive.
