The people who lived inside the castle were like a big family, united in joys and sorrows. We lived in houses with beautiful courtyards. We had wood stoves and braziers. We took water from a fountain in the square and in the summer, we washed our clothes in the lake. There we fished and swam. The commuting was done mainly with the carriages, that is, carriages with horses. The children played in the fields and the adults exchanged visits. The best were the evening chants that the boys did to the girls. They did it to me too! Nice times!
