In front of the Fort, when there is low tide, you can see the shoal of Monte Rosso. My aunt says that a long time ago, there was a monastery dedicated to Saint Anthony, but at one point it sank into the sea. Only the statue of Saint Anthony was saved, which was pulled out of the water and brought to the new church.
