A poor family with many children decided to make panzerotti. He borrowed the pan from Signora Mezzoculo by promising in exchange for the panzerotti. But the panzerotti all ended and so the mother and children decided to cheat Mezzoculo and gave her panzerotti stuffed with mice, sawdust and crap. Mezzoculo noticed it and, furiously, killed the whole family except his father and a boy.
The father then killed Mezzoculo. Eventually St. Nicholas resurrected all his family members.
