On Koundouriotou Street there was Levi’s famous house. It was a large and luxurious Jewish mansion that had experienced many glories before the war with many celebrations in its halls and many famous people of Ioannina of the time to have visited it and describe it in the most impressive words. Unfortunately, after the capture of its owners by the Germans, the house collapsed and slowly emptied of its treasures. It was then that it was decided to house the conservatory there. The house came back to life. The melodies of the piano and the violin started to be heard from there again.
