Kalamatas

One day, when I was 10 years old, Tsivoula stopped me while I was riding a heavy bicycle, a solid iron, brand Bismarck, German. Write a letter for me that says to Kalamatas, meaning her boyfriend from Kalamata, who abandoned her and left. So, I started writing variable curse words … I was writing, I was writing, my hand hurt writing all these insults. At the end she says to me “well done my pasha … go and post it now”. I had no other choice. I bought an envelope costing 20 dimes and a stamp costing 80 dimes and I gave it to the post office. My pocket money was gone and Kalamatas never came back! The love story of Kalamatas and Tsivoula ended ignominiously.
