The hidden treasure

In 1948 there was a guerrilla war in Greece. In Ioannina, on the hill of Kiafa, in shacks lived people who had been expelled from their villages and houses, by the guerrillas. Living conditions were very harsh. Despite all the difficulties, the children forgot their problems and ran barefoot in the fields. One morning they decided to play the hidden treasure. Someone hid a can and the others would look for it. A nine-year-old boy dug deep into the ground and found an iron object. He took it in his hands and it exploded cutting off his hand.
